Little Brown Mouse spent some time with Grandma and Nonno today and when we went to pick him up, we spent some time with them, too. This photo is the little shelf above my mom's desk. I love this space and I hope she is okay that I took a photo. Surrounding her little Buddha are assorted rocks, sea glass, and driftwood, and all of the words that I have chosen for each year (this is my 7th year), which she has included in her own meditations. And off to the left, the little apple doll that the kids carefully and eagerly made for her for Christmas 2015 (inspired from Elisa Kleven's The Apple Doll).
I need a little Buddha figure like this to light one of my beeswax tea lights...while I do my new morning yoga routine.
